Funky? Yes. but My Feet Love Them
Sure, they look different than other shoes. The Fila Skeletoes are a toe shoe, so each toe has its own “pocket” to slide into. Well, actually the smallest two toes share a pocket, a design Fila thought might help to make sure the little toe did not bind up while pulling the shoes on. So four toes, and a skeletal print on the bottom, certainly make these look unique.
More than just looking unique, they feel different as well. On the ground, or in the water, these shoes give you a barefoot feel like no other shoe does. And it accomplishes that while giving you support and protection from the elements. The sole is somewhat rigid, but not enough for hardcore activities like distance running. Walking across dirt, sand, gravel, and asphalt are a breeze with these shoes. And the fact that they easily shed water make them ideal as water shoes as well.
